Yulia Rothenberg, Project Assistant

Yulia brings over 20 years of experience as a program manager and proposal writer to her role as the Project Assistant for SIMAP (Sustainability Indicator Management and Analysis Platform).  Her focus is to manage the SIMAP program and provide user support. She has extensive experience in program management, IT, graphic design, writing, education, resource management, employee and volunteer engagement.  

She volunteered for Green Decade in Newton, MA, was a member of MassRecycle, NEWEE, and is a passionate advocate for the environmental sustainability practices. Her focus will be to manage the CCNC program to the next phase of its development. 

Yulia has a degree in History, is bilingual in English and Russian, and was a Sustainability Employee Engagement champion at Dimension Data, Inc.  When she joined Measured Progress in Dover, NH, she became a member of the Green Team which organized annual electronic recycling events on Earth Day, removing over 1.2 tons of electronic waste from the landfill and engaging with facilities management to promote environmentally friendly practices on the campus. 

She is also an artist who creates wearable art items from materials which are not recyclable, from old clothing she makes new clothing, totes, jewelry, and other items extending the life of existing materials, giving them new life and making them fun and beautiful.
