Mary has been a Zero Waste Intern at the Institute since June 2019. She is spearheading phase II of the UNH compost pilot and assisting with education and outreach. She organizes volunteers for the compost pilot, sorting compost and collecting data. She uses the data to create and present graphics for outreach campaigns. She also assists with bin standardization on campus and creating a liquid collection system for campus retail locations.
Mary is currently a senior majoring in economics and focusing on sustainability and public policy. She is the Environmental Advocate for Mills Hall and an active member of Alpha Phi Omega. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending time with my family and friends, and listening to music at the Freedom Cafe.
