Jordan is an Outreach and Engagement Intern at the Sustainability Institute. She helps engage student stakeholders to learn more about their experiences and perceptions related to campus energy use, dining, and waste disposal; and educates and supports students to contribute to a more sustainable UNH, as part of specific campus events or campaigns. Specifically, Jordan works with students in the residence halls to reduce their waste, energy consumption, and water use.
Jordan is a junior studying Environmental Geography and Sustainability at the University of New Hampshire. She hopes to use her degree to study the societal impacts of climate change on different cultures and to educate people about the environment. In the past, she has studied the effects of climate change in Bhutan and will be traveling to South Africa this winter for an environmental education service project.
Jordan is also Business Manager of the Student Environmental Action Coalition (SEAC), and in her free time enjoys writing, reading, listening to music, and hiking.
