Elizabeth Cain, Green Office Intern

Green Office Intern, Elizabeth Cain

Elizabeth is an Outreach and Engagement Intern at the Sustainability Institute. She helps engage staff and student stakeholders to learn more about their experiences and perceptions related to campus energy use, dining, and waste disposal; and educates and supports staff and students to contribute to a more sustainable UNH, as part of specific campus events or campaigns. Specifically, Elizabeth works with staff to implement UNH's Green Office Program.

Elizabeth is currently a junior at the University of New Hampshire majoring in Environmental Conservation and Sustainability and minoring in Business Administration. She hopes to use her work at UNH to eventually pursue a career in corporate sustainability as a Sustainability Director. On-campus, she is also Vice President of Net Impact, Publicity Coordinator for Girl Up, and involved with the Student Environmental Action Coalition and Xi Sigma Pi Natural Resources Honor Society. In her free time, she enjoys being outside with her dogs, playing hockey, staying active at the gym, and spending time with friends and family.
