RULES: UNH What is Sustainability Student Video and Image Contest

All participants in the UNH What is Sustainability Student Video and Image Contest must read and agree to the following rules before submitting videos or images.

  • Each submission MUST convey what sustainability means to the contestant and, where feasible to the contestant’s vision for such content, reference or include UNH.
  • By entering the contest, you grant the UNH Sustainability Academy and Museum of Art, UNH a perpetual, royalty-free license to use your video and/or image in any media, for promotion and use by the UNH Sustainability Academy, the Museum of Art, UNH, UNH and other non-commercial purposes. You grant UNH permission to edit or modify your video at the sole discretion of the UNH Sustainability Academy and Museum of Art, UNH, and to show your video and/or image at the Museum of Art and the UNH Sustainability Academy (websites, in-person print or video displays, social media, print brochures, etc.)
  • Only one video and one image may be submitted per individual or group.
  • The UNH “What Sustainability Means to Me” Video & Image Contest is open to all undergraduate and graduate, full-time and part-time UNH students currently enrolled at UNH.
  • All videos must be:
    • 1 minute to 3 minutes in length
    • 100 MB size limit
    • Resolution between 320X240 and 450X338 pixels
    • Submitted in one of the following formats:
      • MPEG (MPG) (we recommend MPEG4 with MP3 audio
      • AVI
      • MOV
  • All images must be:
    • Either a photograph or digital artwork that is scanned and in the proper format. Print pieces will be not accepted.
    • 100 MB size limit
    • Resolution between 320X240 and 450X338 pixels
    • Submitted in one of the following formats:
      • JPEG (JPG)
      • GIF
      • PDF
  • All participants must follow the terms of agreement and community guidelines for YouTube.
  • All participants must follow the terms of use specified by Votigo, the online platform through which the contest is being run.
  • The UNH Sustainability Academy and Museum of Art, UNH reserves the right to exclude any submissions that contain inappropriate content or do not follow the submission requirements.
  • This contest will comply with the University System of New Hampshire “Awards, Gifts and Prizes” policy.
